All things, as her favorite comedian and social activist Dick Gregory affectionately said, “If it don’t make money, it don’t make sense.” At AshfordBridge + Company, we live by that philosophy: turning visions into purposeful, actionable realities, empowering people and businesses to grow with clarity, creativity, and intention.

The Journey| We’ve all felt it—the standstill that comes when you’re chasing vision without direction. As builders and creators, we knew there had to be a better way to grow—with focus, strategy, and purpose.

The journey began long before the company existed. When the founder was just five years old, she faced unfair punishment in school. Instead of yielding, she looked her teacher in the eye and said, “Do not hit me. I did nothing wrong. I don’t belong to you; I belong to God.” From that moment, she chose to live life for purpose, not permission—a gentle rebel, yet someone who commands respect in her own right.

Her first creative collaboration was with her younger sister, and from there, it all took off. After graduating from Brooklyn College, CUNY Graduate School, and Full Sail University, she embarked on a journey inspired by the heroines of her favorite movies—Joy, Chances Are, Crush Groove, and Big Fish. She sought to live fully, love deeply, and work alongside the extraordinary talent that God placed in her path.

Along the way, she discovered how to guide others without forcing change—never asking anyone to do something “strange for change” unless they truly wanted to, much like the sentiment in the song Street Dreamz. All the while, she embraced the power, grace, and dignity of her identity as the Black Egyptian she feels she is.

Twenty years later, she mastered her craft—and her friends did too. Together, they now share that mastery with the world, teaching and empowering people across all races, cultures, genders, sexualities, and creative disciplines. From artists to intellectuals, entrepreneurs to visionaries, AshfordBridge + Company shows the world how to grow with purpose, creativity, and freedom.
